The ability to install Yandex bar exists on almost all versions of the Windows operating system, starting with Windows XP. The minimum version for Mac OS X is 10.5.8. The version of the browser itself should not be lower than 36.0.
Installation:
Launch the Google Chrome browser;

Application setup

Disabling and removing items
In order to disable any element from the installed ones, you can use all the same browser settings menu, in particular the add-on section (how to get into it, read above). Going to this section, we find the plugin we need and simply move the trigger button to the "Off" position.
It is also possible to completely remove the installed plugin. To do this, just hover the cursor over the application icon in the browser toolbar and select the "Delete" item using the context menu.

Why does Yandex search engine need a Bar (Elements)?
Previously, I had a subconscious question, why do search engines go out of their way and try to add more and more free services in addition to the usual search and why they are trying to almost forcefully impose on us, ordinary users, their panels, all kinds of bars, free programs (for example, which is in your browsers and your default search).
Basically, the chest just opens. The Bar, Google Toolbar, and Bing Bar are needed for two main reasons. First, to tightly bind you to your search engine through the search form and all these additional services, which can be accessed from these panels.
Secondly, they simultaneously solve for themselves (or try to solve) one more global mega-task - to improve. Probably, everyone has already heard about the influence of user factors on promotion. Let's say that tracking user behavior in search results will not be a problem, but here's how track the actions of visitors directly on sites?
Here you will get the answer to the question, why such sophisticated (and, probably, expensive to develop and maintain) hit counters, like Google Analytics, are positioned as absolutely free (and the same LiveInternet , for sure, sells its statistics to search engines, otherwise it would not be free).
But counters are not on all sites (after all, many webmasters understand what this can turn out to be if the quality of the resource is not high enough), therefore, such tools as Yandex Bar are needed for search. It must be useful to users, otherwise it will not be installed, but among other things, it collects data on their behavior. Those. Thus, Yandex actually recruits free testers for itself, thereby increasing the quality of its search results and the level of its income.
In general, search engines, just like you and me, dear readers, are fighting for a place in the sun, i.e. for the banal. Well, and it, just like for us, ordinary webmasters, will be directly proportional to the resulting income.
After all, search engines (at least Google and the Russian Internet mirror) earn up to 90 percent of all money on contextual advertising (they publish Adwords in their SERPs, respectively). True, we have with you, dear readers, unlike them, there is a much larger assortment, but, of course, on a much smaller scale.
Yandex Bar (in a new way it is called Elements and a link to a description of the differences between these two applications is given at the beginning of this publication) is now installed by many users of the Russian Internet, and they, for the most part, did not download it on purpose, but simply forgot to remove the corresponding checkboxes when installing which - any free program that has entered into an agreement with Yandex or bought it on the root (ala, Punto Switcher, the link to which I gave just above).
But nevertheless, now you can already consciously download and install the Yandex bar for your browser (more functional versions for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer) and at the same time not regret what you have done.

After you click on the "Install" button, Mazila may ask you for permission to install this extension, and after your approval, the download of Yandex Bar will start, then you will be asked about your desire to install this application:
Remarkably, after renaming the Bar, instead of one add-on, two will be installed at once: the ones I have already described and, in fact, the Elements.
After installation, you will be prompted to restart Firefox to activate the installed application. A prudent search engine will ask you to agree to the user agreement in order to avoid excesses and will offer to make Yandex.ru the default page, and your search as the default option.
As I said just above, you will be asked to agree to use your data about what resources you visit and how much you liked everything there. Of course, this is not done in order to follow you (I do not think that the information collected is somehow personalized), but this information is really needed by the search engine in order to improve the quality of its search.
Then, at the top of the Mozilla window, you will see the Yandex Bar (Elements) panel, and additional buttons will also appear on the right side of the address bar:

Further on the Yandex Bar panel are the buttons for your profile and the search engine informer. Other buttons and widgets for Yandex Items
So, find the additional buttons you need and click on "Install" located just below, and once again duplicate your desire in the pop-up window:

The set of buttons "Ya.Webmaster" allows you to quickly access this useful service directly from the bar panel, as well as view some indicators of your sites (if you have created separate buttons for them).
There is also an extended set of buttons for Ya.Money and many other buttons for Ya.bar, but it's up to you to decide what to put and what not. And in general, I would not attribute the use of Yandex Bar to mandatory attributes, because this panel does not meet all the requirements of a webmaster, although in combination with other extensions for the Mozilla Firefox browser, it has a right to exist. Differences between Elements and Bars for Chrome, Mazila, IE and Opera

And the main difference between the Elements and the Bar is that in the new panel now there is an opportunity to enter search queries not in a separate form, but directly in the address bar (saves the useful space of the browser), while, along with the addresses already typed by you, the yandex search suggestions:
It looks especially weird in Chrome (the brainchild of Google). But personally, for more than ten years now, I have mainly been using Yandex search, and all these violent actions of the Runet mirror suit me perfectly (a flag in their hands, a drum on their neck).
