7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite

The cheapest tablet from a Korean manufacturer

Against the background of the presentation of the giant Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, the new Tab Pro line, various wearable electronics and other advanced solutions, Samsung's entry into the ultra-budget tablet market went almost unnoticed. At the lower end, Koreans have been developing the Galaxy Tab line for a long time, but that doesn't seem to be enough. The income of modest Chinese manufacturers does not allow you to sleep well, and Samsung will try to take its own piece of this pie with the help of Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

If you are not discouraged by the fact that a TN-matrix is \u200b\u200binstalled in a Samsung tablet, then the rest of the characteristics will hardly be able to scare you away. Everything is to a minimum, there is no front camera.

Design

We got the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite out of the box, so let's jump straight to the tablet design. In addition to the completely black solution, there are models on the market with a white front and multi-colored rear panels - blue-green, lemon, white and peach. But we received a strict black modification for testing.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite almost copies the regular Galaxy Tab 3, which is to be expected.

The front panel lacks both a camera lens and a brightness sensor. This would have made it possible to shorten the tablet, but the manufacturer chose not to waste time on this. Still, the budget model, additional costs are useless. Nevertheless, the Tab 3 Lite is slightly smaller in width than the competitors from the table.

At the bottom there are three standard Samsung buttons - touch buttons for calling the context menu and returning, as well as mechanical for going to the main screen.

The plastic rear panel has non-marking and non-slip "leather" texturing, but it is not done as nicely as in the older models. There is also no “seam” along the edge. In the middle is the camera lens, and next to it is the speaker hole.

The center baffle of the speaker is slightly raised so that it does not rest against the surface of the table. The speaker implementation is perhaps one of the most significant external differences between the Tab 3 Lite and the original Galaxy Tab 3, which had two speakers, and they were placed on the bottom edge. The maximum volume of the tablet speaker is below average, and it starts to wheeze.

The Micro-USB connector, usually located at the bottom, is brought out here on the upper edge, to the headphone jack. This is somewhat unusual.

Only the microphone remained below. In this case, it is not particularly useful, but in the 3G version of the tablet you can make calls, and such a logical, "telephone" location of the microphone will come in handy. But in the photos of the 3G modification, the front speaker is not observed, so it will be difficult to listen to the interlocutor.

On the left, a cover is used to cover the spring-loaded memory card slot.

On the right are mechanical buttons - a switch and a volume rocker. Despite their narrow size, they proved to be very comfortable due to their short and precise travel.

We were pleased with the build quality of the tablet. It is difficult to find fault with something: all the details are perfectly fitted to each other, and when trying to bend, there is no creak. As for the aesthetic side of the issue ... the Korean manufacturer is not famous for the originality of the design at all, and only for experiments in budget model would hardly go.

Screen

The front surface of the screen is made in the form of a glass plate with a mirror-smooth surface, resistant to scratches. Judging by the reflection of objects the anti-glare properties of the screen are worse than that ofGoogle Nexus 7 (2013) (below we compare with it). For clarity, we present photographs in which a white surface is reflected in the off screens of both tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is on the right, then they can be distinguished by the size and presence of on-screen buttons on the Nexus 7):

Gray surface galaxy screen Tab 3 Lite confirms the above. The reflection in the screen is tripled, which implies the presence of an air gap between the matrix surface and the outer glass. On the outside of the screen has a special oleophobic (grease-repellent) coating (not very effective, worse than Nexus 7)therefore fingerprints are easier to remove and appear at a slower rate than with conventional glass.

With manual brightness control, its maximum value was about 320 cd / m², and the minimum is 14 cd / m²... The maximum value is not very high, and given the poor anti-glare properties, the image on the screen will be difficult to see in bright daylight. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable level. There is no automatic brightness control by the light sensor. At any brightness level, there is no significant backlight modulation, so there is no screen flickering either.

This screen is set tN matrix... The micrograph demonstrates a typical TN structure (or rather, no structure) of subpixels:

For comparison, you can see the gallery of photomicrographs of screens used in mobile technology.

The screen has good viewing angles in the vertical direction (hereinafter in portrait orientation), but with the slightest deviation to the right, dark shades are inverted, with a deviation to the left - light shades. For comparison, here are some photos showing the same images on the screens of the Nexus 7 and the device under test, with the brightness of both screens set to about 200 cd / m². Test picture perpendicular to the screens:

It can be seen that the colors on the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's screen are noticeably distorted. And a white box:

Note the good uniformity of brightness and color tone on both screens. The brightness of the white field decreases faster when tilted in any direction than in the Nexus 7. For example, when tilting to the right:

Now the test picture is at an angle of approximately 45 ° to the plane of the screen when deflected vertically:

It can be seen that the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's screen has even slightly better color balance at this angle. The situation is worse when deviating to the left:

The blockage in the lights is very strong. And it's really bad when you deviate to the right:

Brightness drops dramatically, colors are turned inside out. The black field when you deviate from the perpendicular to the screen in any direction is not very highlighted, for example, when you deviate to the right:

When viewed from a perpendicular view, the uniformity of the black field is imperfect, since there are areas with a slightly increased brightness of the black field:

Contrast (approximately in the center of the screen) is acceptable - about 730:1 ... The response time for the transition black-white-black is 12 ms (8 ms on + 4 ms off), the transition between gray tones of 25% and 75% (by the numerical value of the color) and vice versa takes 36 ms. Compared to IPS used in mobile devices, this TN panel is relatively fast. The gamma curve, plotted using 32 points with equal intervals in terms of the numerical value of the shade of gray, did not reveal a blockage in either the highlights or the shadows. The exponent of the approximating power function is 2.44, which is higher than the standard value of 2.2. In this case, the real gamma curve deviates little from the power dependence:

Color gamut narrower than sRGB:

Apparently, the matrix light filters mix the components together. The spectra confirm this:

This technique allows you to increase the brightness of the screen with the same energy consumption for the backlight. As a result, the colors of images - drawings, photographs and films - oriented to the sRGB space (and the vast majority of them) have a reduced saturation. There is no balance of shades on the gray scale as such - the color temperature is higher than the standard 6500 K and varies greatly from shade to shade:

The deviation from the blackbody spectrum (ΔE) on the white field is large, and varies greatly from hue to hue, which also impairs the visual perception of color balance:

The maximum brightness of this screen is low, anti-glare properties are weak, as a result, the comfort of use on a clear day on the street raises great doubts. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable level. The advantages of the screen can only be counted no screen flickering... There are many shortcomings: typical for TN color and brightness distortions when the gaze deviates from the perpendicular to the screen plane, narrow color gamut, disgusting balance of gray shades. Inexpensive version of the screen on the TN-matrix.

operating system

The operating system Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite practically does not differ from that installed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 - the same Android 4.2.2 in the proprietary TouchWiz shell. The main difference is the appearance of a multi-window mode. In this case, up to two applications are supported, which is quite enough with the available screen size

Besides Play Market, there is a branded application store Samsung Apps. The list of preinstalled software is formed, respectively, by standard google apps and Samsung. In addition, there are several third-party free programs. Content transfer via DLNA is supported. Under the agreement with Dropbox, 50 GB of cloud storage is provided for two years after activation.

It took us a while to get used to onscreen keyboard Samsung, or rather, to its small buttons and large gaps between them:

The operating system works mostly smoothly, but the animation sometimes slows down, especially in the Play Market. Due to the lack of updates, the basic version of the firmware was used for the tests. It takes approximately 28 seconds for the tablet to turn on. Of eight gigabytes internal memory the system takes up almost three, leaving the user about 5.13 GB. But the microSD slot is in place, so there is no disaster for a budget tablet without ambitions.

Platform and performance

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite uses the same single-chip system as the regular 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 - the Marvell PXA986.

Its characteristics are as follows:

  • Central processing unit: 2 cores ARM Cortex-A9 (architecture ARMv7-A) with a maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz
  • GPU: Vivante GC1000 800MHz
  • OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenVG 1.1 support
  • RAM: LPDDR2-SDRAM
  • Support 1080p video recording / playback, cameras up to 16MP

Volume random access memory The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is 1GB. By modern standards, the number of cores and their frequency corresponds to the budget level. Unfortunately, this may not bring the battery life bonus as it uses Cortex-A9 cores rather than Cortex-A7. The graphic processor is also capable of disappointing, since Vivante solutions are not particularly popular on the market and, moreover, one of the basic modifications is installed here.

But first, we'll evaluate the CPU performance using JavaScript benchmarks:

It seems that Marvell's lag behind Mediatek in Mozilla Kraken is due to the difference in frequency, and the MT8125 does not receive any dividends from an additional pair of cores. SunSpider confirms this. Whatever one may say, the usefulness of multiple cores in mobile devices is in doubt. The superiority in Google Octane is due to the browser.

Compared to the other 7-inch tablets we tested, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite looks very lame. And the lag behind similarly priced solutions on budget Mediatek platforms is, on average, 30-40%. The result in Antutu X is almost the same:

MobileXPRT has confirmed the lagging behind the Marvell platform. Notice the low score in the gallery scrolling subtest.

The budget Tab 3 Lite falls behind all the competitors, but when used, this difference is imperceptible:

The final non-gaming benchmark, SuperPi, comes with no surprises.

Let's move on to gaming benchmarks. The low expectations from the PXA988 were confirmed immediately: the Epic Citadel benchmark based on the Unreal Engine 3 did not launch.

In 3DMark Ice Storm, the Marvell-based system lags behind even the budget Mediatek. As for the scene GFXBenchmark T-Rex HD, it turned out to be too tough for our hero:

At the average quality level in Basemark X, our hero overtook the Ritmix tablet, which can be considered an achievement.

Gaming benchmarks prove the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's failure as a gaming tablet. Let's check the performance of real games.

Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour works fine
Mass Effect: Infiltrator works fine
Asphalt 8: Airborne noticeably slows down
N.O.V.A. 3 does not connect to server
Dead trigger 2 works fine
Shadowgun: The Leftover Pack works fine
Dungeon hunter 4 noticeably slows down
GTA: San Andreas noticeably slows down
Need for Speed: Most Wanted slightly slows down
Assassin's Creed: Pirates slightly slows down

More than half of the games in our test suite had problems. Which is not surprising.

Video playback test

To test the display of video files on the screen of the device itself, we used a set of test files with an arrow and a rectangle moving one division per frame (see "Testing methods for video playback and display devices. Version 1 (for mobile devices)"). Screenshots with an exposure of 1 s helped to determine the nature of the frame output of video files with different parameters: the resolution varied (1280 × 720 (720p) and 1920 × 1080 (1080p) pixels) and the frame rate (24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 frames / from). In our tests we used the MX Player video player in the "Hardware +" mode. The test results are summarized in the table:

Note: If both columns Uniformity and Skips green marks are set, this means that, most likely, when watching movies, artifacts caused by uneven alternation and skipping of frames will either not be visible at all, or their number and visibility will not affect the viewing comfort. Red marks indicate possible problemsrelated to playback of the respective files.

Interframe (or group of frames) spacing is a bit irregular in most cases, 50fps and 60fps files are skipped, and 1080p 60fps files are not played at all. When playing video files with 720p or 1080p resolution and 16: 9 aspect ratio, the image of the actual video file is displayed exactly on the wide border of the screen. The brightness range displayed on the screen corresponds to the standard range of 16-235 - all shades are displayed in shadows and highlights.

To decode AC3 tracks, MX Player uses the Hardware + codec. For demanding game scenarios, our hero, of course, is not suitable, but he copes with the video display normally.

Support for wireless networks

Here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite's problems only grow. Perhaps they relate exclusively to the test instance, but it is worth taking note of them. The Wi-Fi receiver is very unstable in the tablet. Communication was constantly lost even at a distance of 3-4 meters of open space from a very powerful router with three external antennas. The problem was solved in a trite way - by placing the tablet close to the router. But even in this case, the connection did not always take place, the victim of which was the game N.O.V.A. 3.

In addition to the questionable single-band Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, the tablet supports Bluetooth version 4, as well as GPS / Glonass. Connecting to satellites in the open air takes a few minutes and the connection is quickly lost indoors. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite lacks a proprietary IrDA, which Samsung continues to install in its tablets. USB OTG mode was also not available.

Cameras

Not only the infrared port, but also the front camera fell under the reduction. The rear has a resolution of 2 megapixels. For this resolution, the picture is not so bad, but the lack of megapixels is clearly felt:

The captured text is legible almost over the entire area:

The maximum video resolution (video: MPEG-4 (Base Media), 2553 kbps, 640 × 480, 23.912 fps; audio: AAC (LC), 64 kbps, 48 \u200b\u200bkHz, 1 ch) is the normal resolution of the front camera. In contrast to the number of pixels, the frame rate is good.

Autonomous work

We were only able to test the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite in read and video modes, since, as mentioned above, Epic Citadel did not work on the tablet. The battery test in GFXBenchmark could have been used, but it also turned off after a while after starting. A power saving mode is available in the tablet, but it only limits the maximum processor frequency (which is already low) and the screen power level (it seems, due to brightness), so the table shows the results with the power saving mode turned off.

The graph of battery consumption readings is almost uniform, there are no sharp falls.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite does an excellent job of its reading mode role, clearly outperforming its low-cost Cortex-A7 competitors. But when playing videos, battery life is significantly reduced. Limiting the maximum processor frequency did not save the day: the difference was several minutes.

Full charging Samsung The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite took us nearly five hours. A third-party adapter was used because the tablet came to us without accessories. Tab 3 Lite cannot charge from a computer.

conclusions

Samsung saved on everything. Outdated single-chip system, low-quality speaker, lack of a front camera and infrared port, small battery capacity and internal memory, and most importantly, the TN matrix is \u200b\u200bnot of the best quality. Today, for the same money, it is easy to acquire much more interesting devices that are inferior to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite only when the manufacturer knows it.

Classmates

Considering Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inches with 3G 16GB you understand that this tablet is already morally outdated, but this does not mean that it has an unpleasant appearance or its processor will run slower. Regarding the system, we have an 8-inch screen, 1.5 GB of RAM and a dual-core processor with 1500 MHz, in principle, this is enough to surf the Internet, watch movies, however, this hardware will not be enough for modern games. Regarding the screen itself, we can say that the matrix conveys a good color gamut, and the brightness margin is quite consistent with the tablet's price policy, which to a certain extent is quite democratic. It should be added that the build quality and assembly materials are at the same level and correspond to the well-known brand. Also, there is a large number of, in fact, the necessary software.

In general, even now the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inches with 3g 16GB looks quite modern.

Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 8.0 SM-T3110 16GB is a multifunctional tablet that will be popular with a large number of users, regardless of their preferences. Also, as we said above, the device is not suitable for games (although for not very demanding, of course yes), but for office applications, watching videos, reading books, this model is one of the most ideal, including software price category. In general, we recommend the device for a more detailed and closer acquaintance.

Only a sophisticated user can distinguish the latter from the Tab 3 - by the sensors near the speaker on the front of the tablet (Tab 3 8.0 has them to the left of the speaker, Note 8 - to the right) and by the narrower side frames of the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. These thin bezels make the tablet more compact and easier to hold in your hand. They can also be distinguished by the back panel: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 has a camera in the corner, while the Note 8 has a center. There is one more small detail - patterns in the form of a fine mesh are applied throughout the plastic.

The build quality is generally good, but Samsung, as always, uses plastic for the case materials. On the side ends there is a metal edging. Two speakers, according to some users, are not located in the best way - on the underside of the tablet.

On the top left is the SIM card, below is the memory card slot, hidden behind the caps. On the right is the IrDA, volume and power keys, and on the top is an audio jack.

Dimensions and weight - 4.9

As already noted, Samsung Tab 3 8.0 3G is comfortable to hold in your hand, of course, not like a 4-inch smartphone, but still. The tablet weighs 314 grams - slightly less than the average for 7-8 inch tablets. The dimensions of the device are 21 × 12.4 × 0.74 cm.The tablet is thin, among the models we tested it is thinner only iPad Mini with their 0.72cm or Sony Xperia Z series tablets.

Ports and wireless interfaces

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is equipped with an audio jack, Micro-USB 2.0 port, supports memory cards (Micro-SD) up to 64 GB. In addition to them, there is a good set wireless interfaces - Bluetooth 4.0, wi-fi (b / g / n) and GPS receiver. You can choose a version without a modem (SM-T310), with a 3G modem (SM-T311) or even with an LTE modem (SM-T315). However, the latest version is for some reason not as widespread as the others, which, in our opinion, is strange - the price difference is small and there is support for Russian LTE frequencies.

Performance - 2.4

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is powered by a 1.5GHz Exynos 4212 dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. In addition to the processor, there is an ARM Mali-400 MP4 graphics accelerator. The tablet works fine, games start and come with slightly cut graphics. In synthetic tests, the model showed average results. In the Geekbench 2 benchmark, the tablet scores slightly below average - 1247 points, in the Geekbench 3 benchmark - 837 points in the Multicore test. In the SunSpider benchmark (the less time the better) the tablet averaged 1257 milliseconds. The graphics chip performed below average - 6.3 fps in the T-Rex HD Onscreen C24Z16 benchmark from the GFXBenchmark benchmark. Basemark OS II unexpectedly rated the Tab 3 8.0 above its 10-inch sibling - 383 points. The results cannot be called high, nevertheless, you can not only watch videos and surf the Internet, but, as it turned out, also play games. Asphalt 8 does not allow you to set the settings to high, only medium are available, but the game runs smoothly. The first level in Nova 3 loads much faster than on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, in 30-40 seconds and goes very smoothly. The tablet itself boots in about 25 seconds, and the Touchwiz firmware sometimes slows down.

Display - 4.0

The display is the same as in the Galaxy Note 8.0 - 8 inches, a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels (ppi value - 189) not bad for such a diagonal is a TFT display with a PLS matrix, the same IPS only from Samsung. The image quality is good, the colors are sharp, the viewing angles are wide. The screen recognizes touch well, it is very accurate and sensitive, even at its very edges. The tablet display showed good brightness, above average - the maximum measured brightness was 430 cd / m2. Also, this display has the best brightness distribution among the tested models - 92%, and the contrast is slightly below average - 775: 1.

Battery - 3.3

The 4450mAh battery of the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is below average. The tablet lasted 212 minutes in load mode, 621 minutes in minimum load mode and showed video for 582 minutes. Not the best results compared to competitors, but here it is up to you to decide how long you will have enough. The tablet takes quite a long time to charge, it took us a little over three hours to fully charge.

Cameras - 3.1

The eight-inch Tab 3 has a 5 Megapixel rear camera with some sort of autofocus, recognition and the ability to record HD video. The front camera is 1.3 MP for video communication, we do not advise you to take photos with it. The rear camera takes more or less good pictures in good lighting conditions. In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 beats the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, but its cameras are still hard to call good.

The modern world is full of different gadgets. And tablets as well. Sometimes it is very difficult to choose something really worthwhile. Therefore, you have to study a very wide variety of models. Today we are going to get acquainted with such products as Samsung Tab 3 Lite. This tablet is very popular with buyers. But why? What's so special about him? And what is the opinion of the owners, experts and buyers of this product? They will help us to understand all this specifications devices, as well as numerous product reviews. Let's take a closer look at them.

Screen

The first thing you should pay attention to on the Samsung Tab 3 Lite is the screen. On a tablet, it should usually be quite large. Unfortunately, in this regard, Samsung can not boast of anything. After all, the size of the display diagonal of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is only 7 inches. This is not so much as it might seem at first glance. After all, the bulk of such gadgets now comes with a diagonal of 10.1 inches.

However, this does not degrade the quality of the device. In general, apart from the compact size of the display, it more than suits users. After all, this tablet transmits 16 million colors and shades. This means that the image will always be of high quality and unforgettable. In addition, the screen resolution is also commendable. Samsung Tab 3.7.0 Lite has 1024 x 600 points. This is enough to watch movies in excellent quality. In addition, it is also convenient to read on such a tablet and play.

Dimensions and weight

In fact, not only the screen affects the dimensions of the device. Sometimes you should pay attention to the dimensions of the tablet as a whole. Especially if you plan to carry the gadget with you. Among other things, weight also plays an important role here.

Fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite scores very well in this regard. This tablet is compact. Its length is 193 millimeters, width - 116, and thickness - 1 centimeter. But for such a device, this is enough. It's pretty comfortable to hold. And even a child can handle the tablet.

Samsung Tab 3 Lite 7.0 8GB weighs only 310 grams. This is extremely small. This means that the tablet will not be a so-called extra burden for you. Basically, all this is very good for the reviews left by buyers. After all, they are the ones who are able to glorify any gadget. We can say that this product is a real treasure for a student. After all, the child will be very comfortable with such a light and miniature tablet, but at the same time, suitable for reading and entertainment.

Processor and system

Samsung Tab 3 Lite also delights buyers with its processor and operating system. Indeed, without these components, one cannot imagine a gadget working well. The thing is that the processor is here for 2 cores of 1.2 GHz. This is a very decent indicator.

The operating system, of course, is known to all - "Android". Only its version is a bit old - 4.2. Nevertheless, buyers are still happy with it. If necessary, you can always just take and update the system. Until any new version... But you shouldn't go above 4.4 yet. After all, it is this version most often found on many gadgets. So, it is worthy of attention.

RAM

In addition to the processor and system, one more detail is needed to run games and applications. It is called RAM, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 Lite does not have any distinctive features... After all, as many potential buyers assure, there is very little RAM here - only 1 GB.

But as practice shows, this space is more than enough. First, we are not dealing with a gaming tablet. This means that a lot of RAM is not needed here at all. Secondly, most programs and games require just such an indicator to ensure performance.

Thus, even 1 GB of RAM ensures the maximum performance of the device. And you will not have to endure any restrictions and hardships. Yes, the latest tablet games cannot be activated. But the bulk for entertainment or work is easy. Sometimes this is enough for buyers to remain satisfied with the tablet.

Space

Of course, no gadget can do without such a feature as free place... It is needed to record personal data and install applications. The Samsung Tab 3 Lite is far from being at the highest level. But nevertheless, this does not deter buyers from this product.

It should be borne in mind: upon purchase, you will be available on Samsung Tab 3 Lite 7.0. 8GB of memory. Of these, 6.5-7 gigabytes are actually obtained. After all, the rest of the space is needed for operating system and resources to ensure the health of the tablet. In general, the place, frankly, is not enough. But only this, as already mentioned, does not greatly scare off buyers. After all, this situation can be easily and simply corrected. How exactly?

Memory card

For example, insert a so-called memory card into the device. Unfortunately, some models of tablets, phones and other gadgets do not have this capability. But not Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 8GB. After all, it is this device that has such an opportunity.

If you are sorely lacking space, then simply connect a microSD memory card to the tablet. There is only one small limitation here - this is the maximum allowable volume. It is only 32 GB. If you want, you can connect more, but in this case you will have to prepare for numerous hardware failures. Sometimes, they can do a lot of harm to the tablet's performance.

Another little tip: do not completely fill the memory and card with data. Leave at least 500 MB free. This will avoid some not-so-pleasant system crashes. They are not critical, but they still affect the performance of the tablet.

Battery and camera

The battery and camera are the last two things to look out for. Basically, the camera on the tablet is not that important. But nevertheless it should be. Indeed, without this feature, you should not even stare at one or another gadget.

Unfortunately, there is only one camera here. And she shoots with an average quality - 2 megapixels. For a tablet, this is still not enough. But in the right hands, even such a rear camera will give an excellent result. Nevertheless, this pushes buyers away from the gadget. Sometimes it is the pictures from the tablet that are needed in good quality... Especially when it comes to such a compact device as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 8GB.

But the tablet's battery pleases. Its volume is not so large - 3600 mAh. But the work time is huge. In standby mode - about a month. With active use, you can hope for a week of work. And if you do not often work with the tablet, then it will require recharging in about 2-3 weeks.

By the way, this device charges very quickly. It takes only 2 hours to replenish the battery charge from 0 to 100%. Compared to charging analogs, this is not so long. Plus, the battery does not deteriorate with an insignificant charge. This means you don't have to worry about the gadget turning off at the most inopportune moment.

Price list and results

Basically, we already know the main characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Now it's time to take stock. But first, let's find out the cost of this tablet. Is she too tall? And it will scare off many potential buyers. What do we really have?

In reality, the price tag for this tablet is not very high. You can find Samsung Galaxy for only 8-9 thousand rubles. A device of this type, as a rule, costs 2 times more. So if you need an inexpensive but high-quality tablet, then you can pay attention to this option. And even necessary in some cases.

It should be noted that Samsung is an excellent choice for study and work. In other words, Samsung Tab 3 Lite is a good present for any student. With him, you can not worry that the child will play different games all day long. And there are not so many opportunities for entertainment here. But this is usually enough for users.

If you need the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Light" - this is not your choice. We'll have to look for a more expensive, perfect and larger option. But overall, the Samsung Tab 3 Lite really deserves to be considered when choosing a gadget for yourself and your family. It is a wonderful purchase and gift.
