Good afternoon, dear readers of the blog site, today I want to tell you how the minimized startup of programs is configured when loading Windows 10, Windows 8.1, so that the programs automatically start minimized when Windows 8.1 boots and thus do not interfere, appearing on top of the desktop. IN this example we will work with Outlook.
Push right click mouse on the shortcut of the program that needs to be automatically launched when the system boots, then select “Copy”.
On the keyboard, press the key combination "Win" and "R", then enter
% USERPROFILE% \\ AppData \\ Roaming \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ Start Menu \\ Programs \\ Startup
and click on the "OK" button. Please note that if you want the program to automatically start for all users, you must enter “C: \\ ProgramData \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ Start Menu \\ Programs \\ StartUp”.
Right-click on free space in the folder and select "Paste".
Now the specified program will automatically start when the system boots, and the program window will appear over the desktop windows desktop 8.1. This is not very convenient, so we will make the program run minimized.
We choose desired file and click on it with the right mouse button, then select "Properties".
For more options for working with Outlook, click File > Options > Additionally.

By default, when you launch a shortcut for Outlook 2010, the Outlook.exe process starts running in normal mode... However, there are situations where Outlook 2010 has to be started with additional parameters (parameters command line).
For example, by typing the command outlook.exe / safe, we will launch Outlook in safe modeat which mail client will start without a view panel, toolbar elements, additional extensions and COM components will not be loaded. This launch of Outlook 2010 can be useful in situations when, after installing a third-party extension (add-in), the mail client cannot load normally, the mail profile has been damaged (by incorrect user actions or viruses).
Outlook 2010 with parameters can be launched from the command line using the window
Run, or using a previously created shortcut with the desired parameters.
For launch Outlook 2010, you need to specify the full path to Outlook.exe (the path itself must be enclosed in quotes, since there is a space in the path), and after the path, specify the parameter, for example, like this:
“C: \\ program files \\ microsoft office \\ office14 \\ outlook.exe” / safe
Launch parameters Outlook 2010
There are many options for launching Outlook, most of which I have listed in the table below. Most often, however, I use the following:
/ a - Create a letter with a specific attachment file, for example, “c: \\ program files \\ microsoft office \\ office14 \\ outlook.exe” / a “c: \\ my documents \\ test.doc”
/ cmessageclass - Create a new element of the specified class. For example:
/cleanautocompletecache –Remove everything from the cache, including names, email addresses, and autocomplete list.
/cleanrules - when starting Outlook, clear all rules, both on the server and on the client.

Automatic start the Office program you use every day by adding a shortcut to your Windows Startup folder.
Windows 10 or 8
Open the dialog Windows startup (Windows key + R).
Copy the following path in the Run dialog box and press the key Input.
% Appdata% \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ Start Menu \\ Program \\ Startup
Open the Start screen, right-click the Office application you want to start automatically, and then click open file location... This can be caused by the submenu " Additionally ".
Advice: If the program is not listed, right-click the Start screen and select All Apps.
Copy (Ctrl + C) the shortcut to the program, and then paste it into the AutoLoad folder that you opened in step 2.
The application will automatically start the next time you start your computer. If you need to remove the program from startup, remove the shortcut from the Startup folder (steps 1 and 2).
